About The Event
A Sensory afternoon with SamMantra & Suz
Led by Mindfulness Coach SamMantra in partnership with experienced Sound Bath Teacher Suz Kuhnel, this retreat session is open to all and includes a mindful walk, gentle somantic mindful movement to connect to the body and compassion-based breathwork to open the heart.
The afternoon will be accompanied by the soft vibrating sounds of gongs and crystal singing bowls to help relax and restore the body as we move into the warmer and lighter summer months.
Refreshments and homemade snacks are provided. Please bring your own blankets and wear layered clothing with outdoor shoes and coats for a mindful walk in the surrounding fields and meadow of the Pilates Pavilion.
The afternoon will be guided in silent led practices so you can truly come home to your senses and find some stillness and rest. There will be time for some shared reflection at the end of the day with some take away Spring treats.
Mindfulness with gong bathing is a powerful combination that can help heal emotional, physical and mental stresses and reset the body and mind – what better way to awaken the senses as Summer approaches.
No previous experience of mindfulness or gong bathing required.
Sound healing has many benefits including inducing a deep relaxation response in the body. Mindful restorative practices can also reduce stresses to soothe the nervous system and help boost the immune system too.
